HALIBUT is an online space for original haiku, senryu, gendai haiku, tanka, and related forms, curated by poets Mary di Michele and Susan Gillis.

The idea for HALIBUT grew out of the volumes of exciting work we read for Matrix Magazine’s special Gendai Haiku issue.

The name comes from an auto-mis-correction that occurred in correspondence about a haibun we’d intended to refer to.
